Linly, a 28-year-old woman has been released from Kachere Prison today, November 14, 2025. She was arrested on March 6, 2025, and charged with infanticide of a child who drowned in a well at her house. Linly has been incarcerated at Kachere Prison until Missional Law an Arizona based organization working in the justice in Malawi in partnership with Clovis Hills Community Church and Women Lawyers Association filed her bail application upon a successful Village Investigation and the court had granted her wish, she is released today 14 November 2025. She has been reunited with her family again. .
