Missional Law actively works within Malawi’s overcrowded prisons—including Maula, Ntchisi, Dedza, and Kasungu—to advance its mission of protecting human rights and securing justice for vulnerable, impoverished, and marginalized individuals. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Missional Law facilitates various programs, such as Camp Courts, drafting bail applications, and covering fines for those convicted of petty offenses. A significant number of incarcerated individuals in Malawi have already been granted bail but remain in prison due to their inability to afford the $5 bail condition. Through its Paralegal Office, Missional Law diligently strives to ensure that these individuals' fines are met, granting them the freedom they have been legally awarded.
